Try this. It is easy and should only take 2-3 hrs. Tell me when you pull your hub how much space you have between your retainer clip and washers. Look down a few posts to "wheel fell off".

I think you are referring to the carrier on the driveshaft. Kwik changed his and had a couple of pics but he noted that the carrier had to be pressed back on and that itself seems to be a real b#@ch without the right press.

I used a BFH and a chisel to remove the bearing and the same bfh and a piece of pipe to install.

Yeah, I did have to change the carrier bearing and I had to cut the bottom out of my press to get the driveshaft to fit. The old one was on there so tight that I couldn't get it off any other way. It made a big CRACK noise when the inner race finally released.
I used the BFH and a piece of pipe to get it back on.

I used a big hammer and chisel to get mine off and then stuck the end of the drive shaft in the freezed for a few hours and keft the carrier bearing in the sun all the while and it slipped right on with very little convincing. Its an old trick that i learned while working in a factory yeras ago and works well with most bearings that need to be pressed on. I did have to buy the carrier bearing from Ford though as nobody else carried them for my truck.
