That's a pastoral setting you photographed. The porch with the wicker rocking chairs, the truck bed with greenery, the barn in the background..looks like something Norman Rockwell could have painted.
That's the side porch of my 157 year old house. Bought it about 3 years ago right downtown Hudson, Ohio. Totally restored in the old traditional style, and I Love It. There red barn is where I get resusitation working on the old truck.
Thanks for noticing, most people think we're nuts for living in the old house.
Love the house, truck, barn, and the whole scene. Can't wait until I can haul some stuff for my wife. She's a green thumb, too. She already digs the truck, but that'll be bonus points. Nice pic....
I used mine to haul some groceries this weekend, after a year of driving the truck without a bedfloor its pretty cool to be able to set stuff in the bed.
I used to work in Hudson so I think I know where Jim's house and truck are. I say we go toilet paper his house (do kids still do that? Seemed like it was a weekly event back when I was a kid) this weekend. Who's in?
Minger
PS Hey Jim, I see you have historic plates on your truck. I thought those were only for driving your ride to and from shows? I s'ppose the flower shop was between your home and the show, right?
