02 6 speed

i have driven an 04 6.0 with a 6 speed and have noticed that at low speeds when disengaging the clutch its quite noisy, i dont mind this i am just wondering if it is normal. also does the 02 do the same? how do these 6 speeds hold up under performance mods?

Define noisy. Mine growls at low speeds, remember that the engine is only at about 650 rpm. when I disengage at that low a speed, I get a 'clack-clack' as the driveshaft unwraps from the rearend, and slaps the other edge of the pinion. Feel free to insert your own noise here.....

There is allot of whirring, thumping and noises with a Diesel on a manual tranny. Just so there is no grinding or bearing noises....
