79, reach under dash, there is a button on top of headlight switch. Push button while pulling switch ****, it will come off. Make sure you disconnect battery first. A mirror will help to locate button.

What's up dudes I have a '79 Bronco with a 460 bored out 30 over and recently the starter has been giving me a lot of trouble first I thought that a permanent magnet gear reduction starter would do the trick, but it started it one and did'nt start it anymore, then I put the old starter back on and it started it off and on for three weeks and now I took the gear reduction starter back and got an standby starter(part # 3142 ford) and it does'nt even turn over the motor. The starter gear just spins free, it seems to me that the starter gear is too small, Is anyone out there that can help me alleiviate this problem? Hey anybody from New York City? IS there a Bronco junkyard in the metro area that I can get parts for Bronco? I'm in need of that info about the starter problem, can anybody help me? Desperate and seeking info!
