Light Question

I have a 66 F350 Truck. When you have the Clearance light on they all work but as soon as you turn the headlights on the front clearance goes out.But the back stays on.It is just the fronts.

So my question is this right or do I have a problem? Thanks Tony

I assume you mean parking lamps, not clearance lights, right? That is the way things worked then. It wasn't till almost 20 years later that the park lamps stayed on when the headlamps are turned on.

1961 unibody 223 Thought for a long time there was a wire problem but one day after looking at the wiring diagram for the umpteenth time it hit me.
It was working as designed!
