Installing Bilstein Shocks
I installed the rears today and will be doing the fronts tomorrow. Have one question. What do you think about using the upper groove on the front shock. Will this give me a little bit of lift or just a firmer ride? The lower groove is for the F150, the upper groove is for the Explorer.

I decided to run the Bilsteins at the lower F150 level, but I did get about an inch of height from the front with just new shocks. The ride is much improved over stock. I could take the stock shocks and collapse them by pushing on each end holding them over my head. The only way the compress the Bilsteins was to push down on them against the floor. Check out the FX2 grille.
