Replacing valve cover gaskets

My valve cover gaskets have been leaking for awhile and I was going to replace the driver's side one next weekend. I don't know a lot about doing anything as for as mechanic work goes (although I am smart enough to buy a Bronco), so what do I need to be aware of when I do this. Keep in mind I'm only doing the driver's side and not the passenger side because that side really doesn't leak... although I am going to clean off the valve cover to make sure. I noticed Ford didn't make it easy enough so I could just unscrew the nuts and bolts holding the valve cover in place and lift it right off... so what else do I need to take off? any help would be appreciated or links to places with some nice pictures would help since telling me to do something and showing me are two different things. Lastly, I have an 87 Bronco with a 302 and fuel injection and the Haynes manual which sucks since I have no clue what they're talking about half the time.

Replacing valve cover gaskets

very simple, just get everything off the cover, and everything out of the way, and any vacuum lines ect. mark them and take the cover off clean the surface of the head and the cover itself replace it and when you put the bolts back in just turn them up snug and i always turn them about one half a turn more, and dont put anything on the head side of the gasket know sealent, and run it for about a week and then snug them again.if you tighten them to tight they will leak.
good luck.
