My buddy takes his 00' F250 7.3 to Lube Stop for oil changes? He says its great, done in 15 minutes, and $50 cheaper than anywhere else. I guess i never think of going there because I cherish my truck- but do any of you do this?
Nobody has touched either of my trucks, or my wifes car, unless something I can't figure out, and that's at an overpriced dealership. Most of the "quick lube" places don't have people that know anything about the differences of oil weight's, and filters. If he's getting off $50 cheaper, it's most likely lower grade/brand oil, and oil filter.
Just my opinion.
local lube shop dropped 10/40 into my oldmans car into the brake master ruined the entire brake system when questioned "ooh no we wouldn't do that" nobody else had serviced the car. you get what you pay for!
