Putco Chrome Mirror Covers

I bought a set of these for my 06 F150 FX4. I cracked one of the original covers and I thought this would cover it up and save me cost of a dealer replacement.

They arrived today, via UPS, both smashed to pieces. They shipped them out of some place in Iowa in the original box which is clearly unsuited to shipping. They were loose in the box and covered by a thin wrapper. The box had been torn open and "repaired" with some packing tape.

I called Auto Anything, who I bought them from, and they will organize a replacement, but I think the next set will arrive in just the same shape. Anyone else experienced this ?

My first experience from a.a. was, simply put, horrible. I purchased a set of chrome bed rails that were "guranteed" to ship before x-mas. Even called to make sure. Needless to say, they eventually came mid Jan. with 3 dents (2 about the size of dimes). I was furious. I had problems with their customer service and eventually got a small discount and I called it good.

For the heck of it I ordered a complete Putco set for my truck not more than a month ago from them. Came within 2-3 days, a nice box, bubblewrapped, etc. Everything was in perfect order (minus the fit on 2 of the pieces). I have a little more restored faith in them.

So, in a nutshell, I'm not too suprised by your experience. Hope they come right this time
