Northern tool has some good trans jacks for 150-200. I have one of those adapters that goes on the floor jacks but it is way too tall. I had to get a real trans jack to get clearance to pull my trans out from under the truck.

Look into a Sunex 7750B 1,200 pound capacity tranny jack it will surprise you how good it works without spending big money. I have one, best investment for me. It lifted the Delorean's front end off the ground once.
