Oil Leak

I was driving down the road when i smelt oil burning. i pulled over and looked all of my oil was on the side of the motor i didnt have a blown head gasket but my dipstick was loose. i was wondering if it came out to the dipstick hole or something else. if anyone knows anything it would be helpful. the motor is a 302 efi engine.

You will have to clean it up, and get it running and look for the leak.

Hi 56f100,
Tony's right, but at this point the first thing to do is find where it's coming from.
How much oil do you have left?
Can you get a can of Gunk and wash the oil off, start it and look to see where fresh oil is coming from?
If it did pop the dipstick out....that much blowby is NOT a good sign.....

*edit* Dave beat me to it.
