Membership change
I took the below info from the Nebraska board and modified it a bit.
Just some news from the higher-ups. FTE management decided to do some clean-up.
Essentially, if you didn't live in Kansas (according to what you indicated in your FTE profile), your Kansas Chapter membership was deleted.
If you are still interested in being a part of the Kansas chapter, just click the join link and I will review your request. FTE will leave it to the chapter leader to use his/her best judgement in approving new members from border states. And I'll keep all requests as long as I can in case the policy is modified in the near future.
Everyone is invited to participate in any discussion, in any regional chapter, regardless of membership. FTE just wants to make sure that chapter members are actually located geographically within or close to the chapters they join.
Please feel free to respond to this message, or PM me if, you have any questions. I try to check in every day.
To try to answere a few question ahead of time. I have no idea why or how this came about. It really makes little difference to me. To me the important thing is that folks keep stopping by and let us know how things are going. The KS Chapter is a family. Membership has been restricted and the CL's job was to screen all applicants for the KS chapter. I have tried my best to follow in Rollie and Tony M.'s foot steps, and keep our chapter membership of the same high quallity folks that contribute to this site, as they did. I believe that being a KS chapter member ment more than just living in KS and looking at this board every month or so. If you were a KS chapter member in the past you will always be one of us and we'd like to have you stop by as often as you can and say hello. Nothing will take away the bond of friendship we have formed over the years.
Ok, now enough with the stuff that we all have to deal with from time to time. Lets vote on the polls we have up and get out to a GTG. Make some noise folks. Tell me whats going on in your neck of the woods.
