My steering problem...

I have a 2000 model X with the PSD that has a Skyjack 6" lift. I have been very happy with all aspects of this truck but lately the steering has gotten really loose. The truck has never had anything replaced on the front end including ball joints which seem to be tight. I have mechanics here at my shop and they replaced the gearbox the pittman arm and the rod end that connencts to it but I have a really hard time seeing where the play is coming from. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

P.S. Opps almost forgot I actually have replaced both axle hubs.

Pull the steering wheel off itself and check the bearing on it. I had the same problem with my '05 E-150 and Ford had to put a new steering wheel on it just a few days ago.
