Ok here goes 1999 F150 4.2 hydrolocked. . . Rebuilt tranny fine! rebuilt engine bottom to top. fires up and runs better then when ford sold it to me. but have a tap tap tap on the number 1 2 3 side (Bank 1) pulled top end replaced lifters, checked rockers and valves no evidence of damage or wear. Still have tap tap tap which increases with acceleration. note: Everything rebuilt to hayes spec and double checked with ford. any ideas
