auto to standard

I finaly found a truck that i could afford and its in half decent condition. The downside is it automatic and i wanted a standard. Its almost impossible to find one of these trucks in good condition in my area. So if i get this truck would anyone be willing to help me convert it to standard? or if anyone knows of a cheap standard 4x4? and about how much approx would the convertion cost? or could i trade the c6 for the stuff i need?

Its a 1977 Ford F250 w\ 351m motor, and extra motor(same), stickered till December. 83,000 orig. mi.

Since you haven't purchased the truck yet, maybe you should just keep looking until you find one that is exactly what you want. There is a fair amount of work (and expense) involved in converting a truck from automatic to manual transmission. You also need to have a source for all the parts you need. Some will or should be bought new but many others can be found used. Having a donor truck is the best way to do it but it can be done piece by piece.
