help with tpms

I picked up another set of chrome oem wheels for my 06 explorer with tpms and I am using my original wheels with tpms for winters wheels. these other wheels came of an 06 explorer limited with 12200 miles that got plus sized.

Long story short, I mounted them up, checked all the pressures and drove on the highway to check them out no balance problems put about 60 miles on and then the system light came on, all pressures are fine, can't find anything rong.

I wouldn't think that the system is caliberated to set of sensors or am I wrong? or does anyone have any ideas. system was fine with old set of wheels, I thought I was okay since these where ford oem's.

Yes you most likely have to have the new wheels calibrated. Not sure how to do it. We have the tool at work...........
