I have an '85 F150 and am going through the inspection fixes. One of them is the parking break that does not work. I realized the adjuster is stuck, I can't loosen the nut because it is basically rusted to the bolt. I've tried all kinds of products to free it with some success but it would be better if I could just replace the main "harness." I don't know the actual name of it and am having a hard time getting one. Does anyone know what it is called and where I can get one?

Thank you all once again for the help.
There are three parts: The U shaped bracket, the threaded equalizer (adjuster) bar, and the nut, which is a special type. I checked y2kfordparts website, they have the U shaped bracket and the nut. They do not show the threaded equalizer bar, but the part number prolly has been updated.
Suggest you contact FTE sponsor y2kfordparts and give them the three numbers I am listing, along with the application.
E0TZ-2A602-A .. U shaped bracket
C8AZ-2091-A .. Nut
E3TZ-2K389-B .. Equalizer bar >> this is the number they don't show, but it's prolly been updated to a new number.
Along with the part numbers, copy this information, and pass it along to y2k: 1980/89 Ford Truck Parts Catalog Illustration: Section 26 / Page 2 / Parts: Section 23.2 / Parts List 2B
