The plastic rollers in the gear box are the common failure mechanism on these, if actual electrical motor or bearing are not shot it's an easy and dirt cheap fix, the rollers are available on ebay.. http://cgi.ebay.ca/Ford-E150-E250-E3...QQcmdZViewItem
Your local hardware store probably has 3/8" or 10MM ball bearings. Clean out the broken plastic, clean off the gears, relubricate the parts with synthetic brake caliper grease. Drop 3 ball bearings into the mechanism, reassemble and you are good. Motor removal usually involves drilling out rivets and making access holes in the door inner panel.

Hmmm, where have I seen that info before.
The Ford part number can be used at autoparts stores, where the kits are also available. The parts stores type in the Ford number into their computers, which gives them the number they are selling them under.
If the autoparts stores ask: "Which one do you want, the early or late kit?" Tell them the LATE kit. The early kit (C9AZ-62234A24-A) was only used on 1965/69 passenger cars.
