My buddy has an '85 Bronco 351 with a 4spd manual. He bought a B&M handle to put on the shifter but none of the adapters fit, the shifter threads/shaft are much larger than any of the adapters. Anyone know how to make this work or where to get different adapters? I'd rather not drill out the $30 handle and mess it up.
could try a Helicoil fix, though this is as much money as the handle. At least you would know what you had for threads. Wouldn't have to drill that much either.
I had to change the entire shifter due to same problem. Bought the Hurst F-150 Kit, but was for the Mazda 5-speed.. He probably should have double checked first.....
