SAS lift?

In getting ready for this summers project, I've found out a lot from you guys and I appreciate it. One thing that I haven't found out, is once you do an SAS, do you buy a lift for the rig that you got the solid front axle out of, or do you buy one for your rig, or do you split it and get the rear springs for your rear, and the front equipment using the donor rig's stats. This is for my 87 F150 BTW, doing a D44 SAS, and I want about 6" of lift......enough to clear 35s with some good articulation for trails

Buy the springs for the SAS axle in the front (the 77-79 springs will fit your stock coil buckets) and the leaves for your stock rear springs.

i would (actually did) buy the 5.5" coild from BC bronco, and then a pair of 6" rear springs from BC bronco and you'd be good to go!
