Band Clamp
#2
You're doing the right things. I ended up using a long drift and hammered the sections of clamp where there's a split that I could get to, carefully. Also might try prying/seperating the section that tightens under the bolt.
Be careful or you'll end up needing a new one. It's strong when it's clamped but easy to booger up.

Alright thanks for the advice. Thanks to weather and work I let the thing sit for 2 days. This morning when I got home from work I took my BFH out and a nice heavy pickle fork and give a few good blows. Figure I would either break the clamp or it would come off. It came off and now my exhaust is on.
