the problem is....hub engagement on a low speed left turn only...can anyone suggest a reason for this...1995 full size bronco

automatic hubs

I'd recommend taking them apart and cleaning them and then applying a LIGHT coat of grease, should fix the problem. A lot of times they'll get too much grease in them from grease seaping out of the wheel bearing. good luck

take a look here at tony's great hub site and see if your auto hubs look as clean and the lube is like his..(as the prev poster sugeested..also look for metal fragments from the snap ring, etc.

btw, my 96 blew both hubs by 30k miles..did a lot of beach runs tho

thanks to those who answered this post...thought it was the hubs but had to take it into ford and it turned out to be 2 u-joints in the front...no more awful noises now :-)
