Motor never gets a final pressure....... the system is flow thru from tank, IP, then return to the tank. IP just takes what it requires and the rest keeps going round and around......
i put a facet pump on our f450 months ago. got the 12v power from the tank selector switch. yeah, it runs all the time, the fuel running through it keeps it for overheating. mounted mine on the frame rail right be the lift pump.
its handy to just turn the key on and get fuel out of the bleed valve on the filter.
