i was wondering, i am looking into injectors and was looking at beans diesel stage 1 remans. They use to be 725 now they are 875 so i am waiting to see if they go back on sale. I found the diy injectors and they are pretty cheap around 650 i think, but are they as good ? i would do the budget ones where they build them all i do is install. I dont know if they seem as reliable as beans diesel, but beans is no longer on the list of links on the diesel garage either so im not sure on what to do and input would be great. thanks
o i have a 97 f250 cc/sb air box edge evolution and 5 in strait pipe.
if you're talking about the RDS stage ones, i just installed them two weeks or so ago. I think they are great injectors. My truck really rips now. i would recommend them.
if my memory serves me correctly, rosewood diesel shop (rds) is the company that does the diy kits. i payed 625 for the rds injectors through diesel performance plus.
Preech it brother Foreman! Beans for sure, great set of injects they make over there. Im goin down there this summer to check there place out and have them do some R&D work on a bad **** twin turbinator setup. Good luck!
Im gonna pitch an idea at 'em to base a twin turbo kit off their D66 with a Holset Htb4 turbinator. Im hopin that they will do some R&D and use my rig as the test dummy.....
I have been talkin with Dusty a little bit about it and he seems interested. I doubt they would use my rig to test the kit out on but it could be a possibility for our trucks. I think it would be a great idea. Nobody else that I know of makes a direct bolt-on twin turbo setup for the strokers. They make all kinds of kits for the Cummins, and a few for the Duracraps but all that I have seen on Strokers is the homemade twin setups. For a company i think it would be a great choice to establish a bolt on kit. I know that people would buy it.
Long island diesel performance used to have a kit that used your stock turbo but they dont even have a 7.3 section on their web site now. I guess they moved on to bigger end better things
