The book calls for the black plastic EGR Pressure Sensor for this truck but I have the older silver metal Pressure Sensor.
The book also says the metal Pressure Sensor should also be replaced with the EGR Position Sensor which I have been unable to locate.
Do I have a Position Sensor? and could I use the newer plastic one instead?
It has been Fords standard operating procedure for decades to use one type of part on a truck when it's assembled. But when you go to buy that part, it may look different than what came off.
If you have the parts book, what is the part number listed for the part you need?
What is the Ford engineering number on the old part?
By using subford's list, you should be able to match up at least the basic number.
The basic number is the number between the prefix and suffix.
