Hi all;
I just picked up a '93 F250 to use for hauling. Runs and drives good with some minor issues. One of which is paperwork. I have an '87 150 parts truck with a good cab and paperwork. So I figure just swap cabs and I am good. My question is since I like the 93 dash, can I swap that into the 87 or will I have to run the 87. Neither dashes are perfect, and I can get replacement parts I need but I like the look of the later dash better. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
No idea.......but my inclination would be no........probly too many little changes for the 93 to fit in there right. At least that would be my luck if I was thinking it....lol
Anyway.....this will get you back to the top of the threads.....and I'm sure somebody here knows for sure
Good Luck!
PS....On the other hand.....I know that if you are "handy" enough....and want to spend the time......anything can be made to work.
I'm not to worried about the frame id becuase when I pull the cab, if I can find it, it will match. If I can't then they won't be able too either. I didn't think about the speedo. That sort of kills it. Especially since I am also swapping in a NP435 while the cab is off. I am sure I could make the dash physically work but the speedo issue is a problem. Can't have the digital display either cause in PA if you drive less than 5000 miles a year you are emissions exempt. And I always am!!!!
