i have a new brake issue...i changed the brake booster ok that quit the suckson sound..and i bleeded my brakes..but my pedal builds once and after that it dont get any better and its like 2 inchs from the floor..my back brakes the fluid while bleeding shoots out like it should but the fronts kinda just slide out but a steady stream no bubbles or anything..i changed the hose from the brake booster to the engine same issue with everything...anyone got any ideas?...please and thank you.
before you can rule anything out , you need to get the rear brakes and the pushrod adjusted correctly, I learned the hard way and wasted alot of effort
Don't settle for auto adjusters..do it manually to make sure.
The drums should Just barely scuff the shoes.
to make the pushrod adjustment. cut a piece of metal or hard cardboard to make a slot out of it equal to the measurement required then set the length according to that.
