Vibration

I just recently bought a 86 bronco 302efi,aod auto,dana44,8.8, 3.55gears. After replacing tires(31-10.50) and shocks I have
noticed I have a viberation that starts at about 55mph then seems
to subside the faster you go. Any help would be great!
ps: I am a new member so if this has been covered,sorry, but
I need the help.

My '83 does the same thing. You might want to have the front end(steering, susp.)checked out, but it's probably nothing.

Sounds like a bad u-joint to me, or the slip yoke might be worn out.

The answer to your question is in your question: you said you had the vibration after getting new tires. If you didn't have the vibration, then replaced the tires and got the vibration, the problem is undoubtedly the tires. Either they weren't balanced well, or one is out of round, or you had smaller tires and then went to bigger ones and expected the same ride, or you got cheap tires and they will never ride perfectly. Shocks won't cause vibration, so it is one of the four options I just presented.
