2" suspension lift

I have a 1990 XLT. I want to be able to run 33s on 10" rims. Will a 2" suspension lift accomplish this? Has anyone done or seen this? I don't want it to look bad, like it does when you have big tires and not enough lift (at least I don't like that look). I can have the 2" lift installed for under $500, whereas a 4" or 6" lift is double that. Also, maybe I would add a 1" body lift to this. I really don't like body lifts, but I have read that 1" will not cause any problems with linkages, radiator hoses, etc. What do you all think? Has anybody done it? Thanks!

You don't need any lift to run 33s (unless it's for cosmetic reasons.)

But it does look just about right when you do.
