Stronger Frame?

I have the opportunity to purchase a 79 bronco in awesome and stock shape. I will be doing a diesel swap of some sorts into a bronco and was curious if the 79' would have a stronger frame than the 80+ up bronco's. I already have a 81' and an 85' and noticed that the frames are already boxed, where the 79's frame is not. The 79's frame is much bigger on the side and could be boxed very easily, but would it be stonger than the 80+? Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, it'll be plenty strong. I don't know about a 1000lb. engine in that short a wheelbase, but it should be fun.

You'll probably have to put 2" lift springs on it to get it to sit level.
