smoke question

Hello every one wanted to say what a great site this is.I have a 2000 7.3 psd 6 speed with a aem intake, aih delete,waste gate mod,ccv mod, & 5 inch exhaust.My question is this latley ive noticed smoke coming out of the hose for the ccv mod at idle is when i notice ut the most and its a prety good amount?I have also noticed the egts are about 200 degrees higher.dont know if its something major or what? i would appreciate any information thank you

NORMAL smoke from ccv mod if not piped to exhaust or rear of truck....200 degrees bad, possible stuck ebpv?

Jay, it is normal for a misty-smoke looking stuff coming out of the hose. As long as it is a constant plume of smoke, and not a puff-puff-puff stream, then you are fine. Puffing means you have cylinder(s) with rings not sealing correctly, letting compression gasses past the rings into the crankcase.

The CCV vent sounds about right like Kris said. The 200* increase in EGT doesn't and can usually be traced to 2 things Intake restriction/boost leaks and like Troy said exhaust restriction.
