Power steering conversion
I have a 76 F250 4x4. I am converting the "crappy" power ram style steering for a more traditional style. When I bought this truck it came with the gearbox and an extra shaft that comes from the steering column to the gearbox. I have the gearbox mounted but the shafts that I have are either too long (by about 4") or too short (by about 1"). Has anybody done this conversion before and what did you do about the steering column shaft?

Do a search in this forum.Somewhere theres a post with a link to the way to convert. It has a list of parts/materials and instructions. I cant seem to fin it but i know its here somewhere.
