What is it?
Hi there, just swapping out starters on my 87, 4x4 today (302). And I noticed... there's a 4 pin connector just sorta hanging out. Looks very similar to my O2 sensor plug. Should this be plugged in to anything? and if so, what? This might be the solution to all my sensor problems... or it could be nothing.

Alright, it appears to be two wires... one is black with a yellow stripe, the other appears to be just black... hope that helps.

Well, its a the same stlye plug as the o2, I guess i'll trace it tomorrow... and its coming down from the back of the motor and ending up right above the starter...
GY/Y = Power for heater
BK = battery ground return
DG/P = information back to the EEC
O = Ground return back to the EEC
