TCI Truck Master

In the fall if everthing goes as plained I should be droping in a Mild 429ci. (about 400hp.) in to my 1979 Bronco to replace my power deprived 400ci. But the problem is, my Trans is starting to go to hell. (Ie. Slipping) so I want to get a trans that will hold up with a 429 when i get it in and still preform will with the 400ci in till idrop the 429 in place. I like what they say about TCI's Truck Master tranny but will it perfom good with the 400Ci for awhile?

has anyone had first hand experance with TCI's Truck Master Tranny? Does it perform as good as they say? By the way this will be a DAILY DRIVER/WEEKEND WARRIOR.

Thank you
