Tranny oil coolers
This is sort of a Repost<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">I have a 2002 7.3 PSD Superduty, CC, Dually, 4x4. I got a 11" x 8" x1 1/2"
Tru-Cool tranny cooler ( believe it is rated at 18,000 lbs) from a friend and want to install it because I tow a 5th wheel. (aprox. 10,000 - 11,000 lbs.) a lot through the mountians in Colorado in the summer.
My question is; has anyone installed one of these in line with the stock cooler?
Or is it better to just run the Tru-Cool and would it be big enough by itself? Does running two coolers like this reduce any flow that will cause a problem?
I also can get the smaller 6.0 PSD cooler. Not sure I would gain much by using it by itself.
Would the 7.3 and 6.0 be a good combination???

Keep the stocker in and just add the TruCool in line. Hope this helps.
