I got my box today.. Someone came in here with a 9007 HID kit he got for his dad and he was selling it pretty damn cheap.. Old man went with Xenon instead and I snagged him before the thread got deleted..
All I can say is WOW! I wired em up and tested em to make sure the lights worked.. Even just sitting there they are bright as HECK!.. I'm gonna wire them up tomorrow maybe or sunday.. Depends on how quick I get my rotors/pads changed out..
If you guys are wondering its a BAC HID Kit.. Lowbeam HID, Highbeam Holgen but I may end up asking him if he can get me a L/H HID setup.. He sells HIDS but he's only does Chevy.. Wasn't bad, 240 bucks and I'm impressed..
Is that a complete kit, including projector housings?
I was considering getting the HID kits that just replace the bulbs, but (in my area) HID lights cannot be used with reflector housings due to the glare.
Although the replacement-type kit would be great for my ATV.
Do the ballasts have a little mounting kit or will you have to rig something up?
No it comes with this mount that the ballasts sit in.. I'll just self tap them into the fender..

Projector housing? Eh I dunno... This kit appears its just bulb replacement.. I put their bulbs in, hook it to the ballasts.. Then plug the 9007 type plug into my upgrade harness (keeping it in b/c of the relay).. Then I take the two pig tails and I put spade connectors on them for the high beam halogen..
Its not a bad kit.. Tho I'd prob rather had L/H Hids and not L Hids H Halogen.. But then again as bright as they are I think I'll never have Highs on lol.. But for $240 you can't go wrong eh?
