I have a 93 f-250 manual tranny, cruise control, tilt steering wheel column and am womdering if a 96 column would fit it? Thats $200 -junkyard.
The column broke something inside and needs to be replaced. the dealership wants $400+ to fix it but said a kit is sold for the bearings inside the column and thats only $65 any advice on which way to go? I am pretty good with repairs but getting into the column and replacing those parts sounds like it might be hard?
They are not that bad at all to get apart... pull it out of the truck and rplace the broken bearings... yopu never know what you are going to get with used components...
