Gas tank mounting
Hey All,
I've got an '83 F150 Flairside 4x4. I'm adding a plastic 33gal Bronco gas tank. I need to know how to mount it. Is the tank hung with straps and the skid plate mounted under it? Or, is the tank mounted directly to the skid plate? (I've seen online vendors display straps and hold downs that hold the tank on the skid plate.)

Gas tank mounting
I think that the straps are used only on the 25 gal. tank, and without the skidplate. If the skidplate is on it, the tank is mounted with it. This applies to both the 25, and 32 gallon tanks.
