Wiper problems

Wiper problems

I have a 94 f250 7.3 the windshield wipers when put on delay they run on slow speed on slow they run on slow on fast they run on fast and you have to park them manually. also if you squirt some juice out of them you have to turn the key off to stop the wipers. any ideas? i have replaced the wcm and the multi arm/ signal lever. one other question my hi beam indicator light comes on and off.

Damn kelowna, that sounds like a nightmare in the works! Sounds to me like a bad ground and/or bad connections. I haven't had any issues with my wipers yet so haven't torn into them. No idea (without my manual here at work) if there's a socket involved or if the wires are soldered directly or what. With all of that wiring inside the blinker arm I can see wires getting pinched/grounding out/pulling loose in that situation.

I'll take a look at my manual tonight when I get home to get a better idea of what's involved with changing that out. Could be just a misplaced wire.
