Transfer Case
Look at the driverside motor mount. it is breaking or broken. this is allowing the driveline to lift and roll to the passenger side as you accelerate. since your t-case handle is mounted to the adapter between the tranny and the t-case it is moving with them. If you had a 4-speed the shifter it would move the same as the t-case handle. I suspect you have a auto since you didn't mention it moving. Good luck
