Door Switches

I have a 2004 F-150 Lariat Supercrew, interior lights don't come on when doors are opened, but do work with light switches. I also get no door ajar indicator when doors are opened, opening doors doesn't shut off radio after parking, and door locks don't automatically engage like they should. Dealer found nothing wrong with any single door switch and recommended letting their wiring tech get a crack at it. Truck runs fine otherwise ! Would appreciate any ideas . Thanks

Het Bill, just read your post. Seems I had this situation on my 97 f-150. Someone told me to spray the key lock with w/d 40 and it worked try it and let us know

I had the same problem with my explorer. I found out there was a cut wire that affected it. If the WD-40 does not work, I tried that two before I knew it was a cut wire, have the dealership look at it.

Thanks, we tried this first, problem is related to all doors, whatever all door switches send signal to that their opened or closed. They also ran a test on some computer at dealer. Guess I'll have to leave it with their electrical tech some day.
