i thought I might try bleeding the brakes a couple days ago to make the light on the dash go out. Well, the front chamber of the master was almost empty, the bleeder is seized on furthest away wheel, the pedal goes all the way to the floor, and I didn't try any of the other bleeders. I don't want to put any more money in the truck so I guess I'm done fixing her up to sell... I deleted the old ad, and made a new one, I'll post a link to it in the for sale thread.
I'm totally shocked that no one has bought my truck yet, I mean how many trucks were optioned out like this back then??? and its only got 138000 KMs on it... I don't get it, its cheap enough that it should be gone from the driveway by now?
oh yeah, maybe not as long as it would with the 300....but they'll last. The 351 was a factory option in the F150s. The only problems you might have is if you bury it in some goop and gotta pour the coal to er, you might break one of the axles or the u joints in the front end with the 35s. That or climbing a big hill, get a bounce and theres the chance to break something there...those are things that kinda come with the territory tho, 300 or 351.
Ya, that is kinda what I was thinking. I think the real weak link in this truck is the front end. But when she goes a solid axel will be in it's place. Thanks Al.
