flasher speed slows down while idling

flasher speed slows down while idling

When idle at a stop light turn signal slows down but when I resume travel the signal speeds up. What causes this?

Get a voltmeter and check the voltage at the battery with the engine idling. It should be around 14 volts. If it's low, that would cause what you are talking about.
