I wouldn`t turn the 69 down even though I`d prefer a 70-71, seems like a decent price depending on condition.
Too bad there wasn`t any pictures of the other Ranchero rolling body from 1970 or 71.
It`s too far for me to go in the summer time.
Too bad they didn't post the VIN, it was prolly a 351W with an FMX cruiso. Very few of these were 390's unless they were GT's. The hoods weren't cut originally since the scoops were the same as Mustang Grande used..bolt on type. Wrong wheels, and no 351C's till 1970. I prefer the square looking 68-69's to the more radical design of 1970-71, tho the 1967 is my all time favorite.
That camper shell was tacked on, it doesn't fit worth a darn. Original camper shells for these are worth big $$$ regardless of who made them (Ford didn't). btw, all the bed side mouldings and tailgate mldgs are the same 1968/71.

Im assuming the guy doesnt know alot about it, if you want i could probably email him and get the vin. I know that is a ways to go too for ya Morris. But like I tell everyone else, I do come back to sask quite often!
Yeah dustin, seattle is only about 3 hours or so away from my house. Ive been looking on the craigslist down there, and there is some pretty amazing stuff down there. Currently Im dealing on a boat, and a enduro motorbike, and Im looking at what it would take to get a late 70's f250 4x4 across the border.
that could be a nice ride fer sure!! say prep, if a guy did an ebay purchase in the states near you...you'd be up for a pick up??? cash?? just wondering...
You bet ya I could pick it up. Ive actually been looking for someone down in washington that it would be possible I could get stuff shipped to, then I wouldnt have to pay the huge shipping costs, that most people have, just to cross the border.
Yeah that is sweet USA has the nices trucks around i heard a relative talking and he said he knows a guy he always goes down to the states and buys his vehicles new there cheaper somehow !
Ive heard that from alot of guys here too. They get new vehicles from seattle. I guess with the price difference, and teh exchange rate being pretty good right now, its possible.
