more chirping.

I've got this chirping sound coming from the clutch area. If I put slight pressure on the clutch pedal it goes away. Any ideas as to what it is? Thanks Todd.

Throwout bearing. Had this issue in my old Toyota Tacoma.

Yepper.....I think Chris has got that one nailed pretty good.....usually the throwout bearing. How many miles? You'll probly want to put a new clutch in too. It's not too hard if you have a place to work on it.....Though I have never done it on a Ford.....lots of chevy's and dodge vans back when I did that sort of work.

Good Luck

you do not say how many miles on clutch but i agree it sounds like the throwout bearing.

Being it's a 4 spd...you have a conventional clutch fork with a floating throwout bearing...and an external slave. Look at the pushrod for the slave where it meets the clutch fork....a white plastic bushing wraps around the end....if the plastic is wore thru...you have metal to metal contact which equal noise and loss off travel. If not, gentley remove the boot around the fork......carefully spray a good lube at the stub shaft that comes off the trans which the throwout brg. rides back and forth on ......use a good light and a straw on the lube can.......just a quick push on the button....dont over do it. Also, halfway up the clutch fork is a pivot ball.....direct a 'lil lube right there also. White lithium spray..only thru a straw...be steady when you do it.......no lube near the clutch itself.
