I have white smoke at start up in my 04 F250 6.0L. I believe that it is a head gasket issue as I am also loosing a considerable amount of coolant, a gallon or so a week. After a while the smoke clears, I suspect that the head gasket is swelling thus limiting the amount of coolant getting in to the cylinders. I am fixin to take it back to the dealer to get fixed. I am interested in either gettin better head bolts or possibly studs. Has any one delt with this thru a dealer in addition to the warranty work?
