Yeah snow, that pipe is wicked expensive. not the easiest to work with either. If your company is willinbg to apprentice you as a pipefitter doing those gas stations, you are a lucky man, i don't know how it is out there, but here, thye make an insane amount of money. One of my uncles Petro can's the guy worked for 5 days, no OT, after all his materials my uncle figured he made about $15 000. I want to apprentice as a pipefitter before doing any of my other tickets......

Are you saying that the guy made 3 grand a day as a pipefitter Joe? If so, that guy must have had his own company and worked alone eh?

I know pipefitters in northern alberta do not bad at all.

Crap thats what I need more competion for driven the tandem.

As a labourer last year I made 13.50 working 70 hour weeks. (don't get paid OT for travel though.
And they are urgently looking for employees ASAP.

yeah thats what he made, doing gas stations, as far as his own business, its him and a friend, this guy does the interior and the other guy stays on the island. I don't know if this was a really good job for him though, he made it sound like it wasn't all that out of the ordinary.

At 13.50 i wouldnt even budge! But i should find out down here what the job market is like for that. Joe where is that guy based out of?

Yeah i get paid a tad more then that And my winter wages, well yeah, a bit more then that too, would be hard going downwards like that for me. I could handle 3 grand a day though, wow!
