more brake problems

On 95 Bronco. I changed both wheel cylinders and star wheel adjusters on the rear drum as well as shoes, springs. Then I adjusted them (although I think I should try adjusting again). I also bled the lines at rear. Now the pedal SEEMS (?????)firm enough but goes pretty far down. Upon rebleeding I found no air out of driver side but pass. side keeps pushing out small bubbles at the beginning of each pedal pump. I figure it's either a heck of a lot more air and/or a leak but both cylinder's connections seem good and tight/dry and that's all I touched. Why the constant air on right side? I bled through a quart of fluid - it should be enough to have gotten out the air. Master cylinder was constantly refilled before getting too low.

My first chore is to readjust the star wheels because I think that'd let the pedal push pretty far down. I know they'll self adjust but I'm guessing maybe that if they're far enuff out, then it's not gonna self adjust that much that quickly. Could use some feedback. Thanks.

You should consider bleeding the entire system, starting with the passenger rear, then driver rear, passenger front and driver front.

When you adjust the shoes, tighten them all the way down to where the wheel won't turn, then back the adjuster off until the wheel turns with a slight amount of friction from the shoes.

Had the problem of air constantly, turned out the bleeder screw was allowing air in past the threads while bleeding, use a little grease to try to seal them if you haven't already. If this doesn't stop it, then you may have to check all the connections back up to the master, thinking if anywhere, would be on the "block" were the vent for the axle is, only because you have replaced the cylinders and may have "disturbed" the line going across the axle.
