Auto temp control
Does any one know if its possible to switch from the manual heat/cool ***** to the automatic controls?..I wonder if its an easy switch or something i dont wanna get involved with.I know i would need the sensor in the front for ext temp but is everything else plug and play?.. Thanks Joe

I think you have to change the duct work, not just the head unit. I think there may be a different harness also. You have solenoids working the blend door along with the vacuum lines. I would think it would be a pain in the behind.

I've thought about this to. The Exscursion has it for many super duty years. A good parts break down from factory manuals to compaire would be a good place to start. Wiring diagrams as well. Helms .com can get you acsses to thiese, at a price though. Once your in though you may be able to copie to hard drive pertinate info. to keep your paid subsciption time low . Good luck, and let us know. Our 95 T-bird has it and ours works well in that.
