351m to 460 swap
I am currently swaping out my 351m for a 460 into my 81 Bronco. My question is, does anyone have a template, or measurements for a template for making a motor mount adapter? I've found pictures, but no measurements. I would also like to know what oil pans will fit my twin I beam suspension, and is there any other problems that I might face?

Use L&L motor mounts. I tried Ford 3/4T 460 mounts in my '82 Bronco and broke two in a very short period of time. Life-time guarantee with the L&Ls.
L&L or other remote oil filter. Be certain to use braided steel lines as those lines run right next to the driver's side exhaust manifold/header. That heat will soon crack and destroy regular rubber lines. Ask me how I know.
A 460 Econoline pan does the job, holds an extra quart of oil (important with high volume oil pumps and remote oil filters) and provides a very accessible dipstick. I got mine new from a dealer. Cap the original dipstick hole.
If you bought the 460 as a complete engine, a mix of your 351 and the 460 brackets/accessories should take care of all the bolt-on stuff and save some big money over aftermarket parts. I even used the 460 A/C mounts and compressor.
I use a 3/4T P/U throttle cable with a Performer RPM Manifold and Edelbrock 750cfm carb.
